BREP is currently composed of private Canadian citizens who have volunteered and contributed time, emotional support and financial assistance for furthering the education of the initial recipients of BREP resources. The group has also done person-to-person fundraising that has resulted in sufficient resources to guarantee the intensive language courses needed, funds for the application process, and funds for the completion of a 4-year program at the technical university for two currently supported students. Some of these promised resources were dependent upon our obtaining status for tax deductible charitable contributions, which was granted in March 2025.
